A little bit about myself:

I was born in Rapid City, South Dakota in 1954, and grew up in a small town in Iowa until leaving home at 16.  I joined the Army at 17, and was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany from 1973-1975.  Also in May of 1973, I married a girl named Cathy, who gave me my son Jody in 1974.   Two years after the marriage, we divorced, and I have never been married since.

 In 1976 I met a lady named Trudy, and two years later she gave me a daughter named Sarah.   I did not raise either of my children, except for a 2 year span when Jody lived with me in Florida. Jody and I have kept in touch all these years, and I now reside in his basement.  I don't know much about Sarah, when she was a baby, I made a promise to her mother to stay out of her life, a promise I kept all these years...

I next met a lady by the name of Little Bit in 1978, and we stayed together until she was murdered in 1982 in Key West, Florida.  I have been single ever since...gave up looking, after awhile I lost interest in relationships and pursued my spirituality instead.

I met a lady named Tori in the 90's, who was my roomate for a couple of years, strictly platonic, and she was my teacher in many ways, she taught me to love again...not the physical type, but the emotion itself...her and her daughter Cynthia taught me to belong, and how to share my feelings with others, and as I stated before, how to love...not only myself, but others also...I guess she is my guardian angel in a way...bless her and her partner, and her daughter...

I have worked as a meatcutter most of my life, and am now retired due to Hepatitis C and COPD.  I have spent my life as a drifter, moving from place to place, often on a whim...I have hitchhiked, rode freight trains, drove, taken AMTRAK, and walked many a mile.

 I never settled down, due to my wanderlust and love of travelling.  I discovered the Rainbow Family gatherings in 1975, and have attended every one since. These gatherings consist of many free spirited folks like myself, and I feel that I fit in...

I am anti-war, pro medical marijuana, non-conformist, Green Party far left wing, and a devout bachelor.

I love music, play guitar and Djembe drum, I like to entertain any one who will listen...I love fishing for catfish, and love the outdoors...hate Bush and his cronies, and am an activist on issues such as restoring the land, and anti war demonstrations...I love being a grandpa, and am now getting to know my kids, which are grown up now...

It is no secret that I love my Rainbow Family and love to go to the Gatherings every year...I have a blog called  Just Because... located in Google Groups under Alt.Gathering.Rainbow...

I was ordained a minister in the 90's from The Church of Seven Planes, located in Cooper, Texas, and in 2000 was appointed a Bishop with the church...and I was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree, a religious degree, for my work and study of Theological Science.  I am also a member of The Monastical Order of St. James, located in Cooper, Texas and the American Indian Church.

I am not a Christian, I am a pagan, that is, I do not believe in Christ, I believe in Mother Earth, Father Sky, Sister Moon, and Brother Wind   I have attended 4 Sundances, have pierced twice (Eagle claws pierced in my chest muscles then danced until the muscles gave), numerous Sweat Lodges, 1 Yuwipi, and numerous Vision Quests.

I am presently in the Quad Cities area putting down some roots, and  creating a base to return to after my many travels...I never really had a base before...usually I just move on to the next adventure, the next town, or the next concert venue.  This will be a change for me, because I am actually with family this time around...

I am a student of Herbal Healing and Natural Remedies,Theological Science, Theology, Metaphysics, and at the gatherings, I am one of the medical folks that heal others as needed, using natural means as opposed to modern medicine...

I guess that is it in a nutshell...more later as it comes to mind...
